first This blog was created because I wanted to document for me the private treatment with the Herbst appliance . And because, as I then wanted to learn about the Herbst appliance and its variants (Jasper Jumper etc) in my Google searches have found no useful information or sites about the Herbst appliance on the Web.
second Not a single post in this blog has been or will be paid directly or indirectly. I also receive no favors or special treatment by the orthodontist Saulgau where I am in treatment.
third In this blog I mention only the doctors (and bosses) of the orthodontic practice in Bad Saulgau by name. Do you know about it. When I visit in Bad Saulgau We sometimes talk about the posts and if they do something does not fit or something completely technically incorrect, they log on.
4th I strive for an objective Representation. However, a blog is always subjective: It is about my experiences, perceptions and opinions - and I'm no expert, but a layman and not a doctor. A decision for or against the treatment with the Herbst appliance, should be discussed more thoroughly with one (or several) orthodontists and not be made subject of this blog.
